Mission Statement
 
The mission of the School of Arts  and Sciences is to develop articulate and well-informed disciples of Jesus Christ who can effectively apply concepts, principles, and skills from the arts and sciences to their personal and professional witness for Christ.
   To achieve that goal several courses and a minor in Mathemathics are offered as part of the curriculum.

Objectives
The mathemathics program seeks to undergird the curriculum of the Department of Arts and Sciences and meet the needs of other departments with in the college.
1. Provide a basic mathemathical knowledge to each of student.
2. Provide the courses needed especially for students preparing to become teachers and nurses.
3. Give instruction in statistics especially for conducting research in the Social Sciences.
4. Offer a quality minor for students seeking more study in the field.
