Position Description
CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF JASPER YOUTH MINISTRY CREDENTIALS
The Christian Church of Jasper is searching for a godly man to serve as the youth minister. The youth minister is the minister to middle and high school students and serves as the leader of a youth ministry staff.
The Christian Church of Jasper is located in Jasper, Indiana. It is an 11-year-old church plant currently averaging more than 1,000 in Sunday attendance. The middle and high school ministry of the Christian Church of Jasper — The Well Teen Ministry — is a Jesus-centered youth ministry. The Well currently averages nearly 120 middle and high school students in regular attendance.
REQUIRED CREDENTIALS
Candidates must posses the minimum requirements of:
Aptitude of biblical truth and Restoration Movement theology.
Ability to work as the leader of a youth ministry staff.
Continue the established vision of the current youth ministry.
Excel as a member of a dynamic ministry team.
Competently and responsibly lead and guide middle and high school students, including parents.
Skillfully teach and preach to middle and high school students.
Creatively organize and implement outreach, discipleship, and worship programs, projects, and events.
Successfully prepare volunteers for service and provide volunteers opportunities to serve.
Efficiently and effectively serve as a ministry administrator.
PREFERRED CREDENTIALS
Candidates should posses the minimum requirements of:
Bachelorʼs Degree from a Restoration Movement college or university.
Three years of employed youth ministry experience.
Experience in a large ministry context.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Job Description
Primary Purpose of the Position:
The Executive Director shall have the general powers and duties of supervision and management usually vested in the office of President of a Corporation in order to insure the proper day-to-day operations of the camp. This oversight includes the following areas:
Finance
o Have custody of all corporate funds and securities and keep in books belonging to the corporation full and accurate accounts of all receipts and disbursements as outlined by the camp’s independent auditors.
o Oversee the deposit of all moneys, securities, and other valuables
o Produce invoicing and receive same for services rendered by the camp
o Monitor and fulfill all financial obligations of the camp including leases, loans, and accounts payables
o Prepare and distribute payroll for all employees. Track and deposit all appropriate tax withholdings. Submit all required tax forms (W-2’s, W-3’s, 941, 1099, etc) in a timely manner
o Establish pricing for retreats, summer camp and product merchandise
o Develop and submit a budget for Trustee and Advisory Board approval and execute same
o Track all charitable contributions and distribute IRS compliant receipts to donors
o Provide Financial reports to the Board that provides an accounting of all transactions and the financial condition of the camp
o Engage the services of an independent auditor to conduct an annual audit of the camp’s financials
Marketing
o Establish and maintain a working relationship with the member churches
o Participate in the local minister’s association
o Develop and execute marketing programs to insure the full utilization of the camp facilities
o Oversee development of all publications (stationary, brochures, newsletters) in support of camp activities
o Maintain and update the camp data base for utilization in direct mail campaigns and fund raising efforts
o Oversee the development and updates to the camp’s web page
Staffing
o Recruit and hire staff against all posted openings
o Establish and monitor employee work schedules
o Conduct annual performance evaluations on critical staff members
o Provide performance feedback on all staff not subject to formal performance evaluations
o Create and update all staff job descriptions
o Establish pay for staff positions (kitchen, lifeguards, grounds, etc)
o Manage and inspect the daily activities of all employees
o Insure that employees receive the necessary training to perform their job and any additional training that may be prudent
o Track the vacation and sick time for all eligible employees
o Maintain current postings of Ohio Fair Employment Practice Law, BWC Certification, Job Safety & Health Protection Act, Family & Medical Leave Act, Minimum Wage Notice, the Employee Polygraph Protection Act, and any other notice that may be required by law.
Legal
o Insure that all licensures (Food Service, Camp, Pool) are kept current
o Insure all vehicles (vans, trucks, cars) and boats are properly licensed as required by state law
o Comply with all EPA regulations concerning the sewage treatment plant and test water monthly
o Implement an effective risk management program design to protect the camp, the customer and the employee
o Provide adequate insurance protection and review on annual basis
o Insure payment of Worker’s Compensation Premiums
Programming
o Oversee the development and implementation of special programs designed to enhance the ministries of member churches
o Recruit Deans for Summer Camp programs
o Expand Summer Camp programs
o Recruit Staff in support of summer camp
o Enforce Camp Rules and Regulations during the summer camping season
o Develop and maintain policy procedures through such documents as the Dean’s Handbook & Nurse’s Handbook
o Conduct regular Dean’s meetings to evaluate Summer Camp and revise rules, regulations, processes, policies and written documentation
Physical Plant
o Oversee the Maintenance Director’s upkeep of the structural & mechanical integrity of camp buildings
o Oversee the M.D.’s upkeep of the grounds, lakes, shelters, roadways, trails, woods, etc.
o Oversee the M.D.’s maintenance of equipment, tools and vehicles
o Develop and manage construction projects
o Oversee the upkeep and replacement of all office equipment and software in support of activities.

Position Description
River Hills Christian Church is looking for an intern for their Preschool/Kindergarten ministry. This ministry encompasses ages birth-Kindergarten. We offer two services on Sunday morning where we average 70 children. The intern will be asked to fully participate in our Preschool/Kindergarten programming. The intern will be provided with a place to stay and a small stipend each week.
Intern requirements will include:
• Preparing lessons and teaching in classrooms on a weekly basis, rotating through all age groups
• Participate in or lead Preschool/Kindergarten worship (worship experience not required)
• Helping to clean and organize classrooms on an as needed basis
• Spend a minimum of two (2) days a week in the office working alongside Preschool Director. Jobs may include but are not limited to copying, filing, creating documents, organizing, etc.
• Be present and serve in both planning and implementation of large and small programs (VBS, Sports Camp, Wee Love Out Loud, Parent’s Night Out, etc.)
• Serve at Woodland Lakes Christian Camp’s Preschool Day Camp on July 21st
• Meet with Preschool Director on a weekly basis
The internship will begin on May 18th and end on August 12th (ending date is negotiable). It is an unpaid but accredited internship with a great learning experience in the field of children’s ministry. We are looking for a student who is energetic, focused, and passionate about introducing preschoolers to Jesus!

Position Description
River Hills Christian Church is looking for an intern for their student ministry. The student ministry encompasses grades 5 through 12. It is a group of about an average of 50 students on an average Sunday. The students come from a variety of social-economic backgrounds generating a very unique group. We have two services for all grades on Sunday morning and a high school service on Sunday night. The intern will also be attending several events with the student ministry. The intern will be provided with a place to stay and a small stipend each week.
Some of the tasks that an intern will be asked to do are:
- Write and teach lessons on a grade specific level
- Help with worship in some way (no worship background required)
- Planning events and helping bring those plans together
- Travel with the student ministry on trips and outings
- Have at least 2 days of office hours and attend meetings
- Most important spend time with the students showing them Christ’s love
The internship will start on May 18th and last until August 12th (ending date is negotiable). It is an unpaid but a great learning experience in the field of student ministry. We are looking for a student who is looking to just gain some experience in the field of student ministry. They must also be able to be professional while connecting with the students.
