Course Objectives

This is designed to help prepare the student for the type of requirements commonly experienced in graduate coursework.  It should help train and evaluate the progress of the student in three critical areas relative to historical scholarship.
 1. The ability to research effectively.
2. The ability to write correctly.
3. The ability to communicate knowledge to others through the spoken word
