•  Project Leader: The Virtual Karak Resources Project, Three year $110,200 Mellon Foundation grant to promote teaching and technology in the classroom for undergraduate classes using material from the Karak Resources Project (www.vkrp.org)

•    Project Leader: The Virtual Karak Resources Project, One Year $50,000 Grant Extension and Expansion Grant funding by the Mellon Foundation.

Miami University, Fall 1989, campus-wide competition for graduate student achievement in their research areas.  Awarded for my article "Area A, Tell Abil: Preliminary Report of the 1988 Excavation Season,"  Near East Archaeological Society Bulletin, Nos. 32-33, Winter 1989.
